Portuguese and Spanish history are in my area of usual readings

I would recommend you a site, that has been working on this for some years, that is probably the biggest Academic serious effort in this matter, with hard data, directly from the primary sources, not from Wikipedia: Slave Voyages
First of all welcome to Historum... Wikipedia is a good introduction and often leads us to other more adequate sources. I just want to underline that in the mentioned case, Wikipedia was contradictory, and chispa1707 just saw one part of the issue.
